Closer to a Cure for Alzheimer’s

Although Alzheimer’s is a horrible disease, we feel hopeful for a cure in our lifetime. Beneficial research is being done every day by scientists with thoughtful and powerful intent. Their rapid rate of research is what drives our hope.

The Walnut Study led by Dr. Abha Chauhan at the New York State Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities found significant improvement in learning skills, memory, reducing anxiety, and motor development in mice fed a walnut-enriched diet. When it comes to dementia, walnuts and certain other foods, including broccoli, have been found to also significantly reduce the risk of developing the condition. Read more
